Job Description

The Associate Director position in Student Financial Services is responsible for assisting with supervising departmental staff; assisting HR with tuition assistance; processing International insurance; assisting with Withdrawal process as needed; managing daily operations of SFS office; managing activities related to student accounts receivable for all Troy University Campus locations; assisting financial aid disbursements; assisting students with the financial aid process and registration; assisting students with inquiries regarding their accounts, verification of payments, status of refunds, and the resolution of any disputes; assisting with all billing tables setup for all locations; testing new software enhancements for IT; training current and new employee's on Datatel/Ellucian software; and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field 2. Datatel Experience 3. Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point Preferred Qualifications 1. Minimum of five years of experience working in a financial services environment, higher education environment, and/or other similar environment 2. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
