Salary Range:
$130k - $155k + annual bonus Our client, a growing and established organization, is seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial management of multiple business units. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, managing month-end close activities, and providing leadership to the accounting function. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, billing, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain financial data integrity across multiple entities and business operations Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures Partner with leadership to support operational and financial objectives Provide guidance and leadership to accounting team members Qualifications Experience managing accounting processes within a multi-entity or operationally complex environment Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and accrual accounting Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements is a plus
