Manager, Finance Administration Reports to:
Senor Manager, Finance Administration Job Status:

Exempt Position Summary Responsible for performing all accounting functions as required by the organization structure and the state and federal laws. Maintains financial records and provides necessary financial management reports. The human resources duties are administration of insurance and retirement benefits. Under general direction, provides staff assistance on difficult-to-complex projects and programs pertaining to the finance department. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative. Major Responsibilities Responsible for all accounting functions required by the organization which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits (cash, checks, credit cards), payroll and general ledger. Responsible for the financial statements and prepares monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement; provides variance reporting as a supplement to the Income Statement. Provides any support/documentation to the Executive Management team, Finance Committee, and Board of Trustees if necessary to support questions/comments raised by the Financial Statements. Responsible for the annual budget preparation. Takes part in preparing budget with the Executive Management team. Responsible for allocating expenses and revenues in accordance with the budget. The budget is calculated by the cost centers over the twelve (12) months.

Responsible for the following:

retirement benefits and tracking paid time off. Responsible for reconciling bank statements, Merrill Lynch statements, credit card statements and maintain bank balances. Responsible for providing information to the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as it relates to the annual audit. Responsible for developing and administer financial policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining control of cash flow to cover payroll and accounts payable requirements. Evaluates bank balance and recommends cash transfers or withdrawals from Merrill Lynch CMA account. Responsible for issuing invoices to clients for all NCPDP Database Product subscriptions. Responsible for Purchase Orders that are received for all NCPDP Database Product and handling in a timely manner. Responsible for updating company information received from client purchasing subscriptions from all NCPDP Database Products. Responsible for duties as 'NCPDP Finance Committee Liaison'. Responsible for employee benefit packages, processing in a timely manner. Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the President & CEO or Executive Vice President &General Manager. Organizational Relationships The President and CEO of NCPDP may be required, during peak periods or when staff resources are limited, to redirect staff to share duties and responsibilities of others.

Qualifications Experience:

CPA degree desired

•, however sufficient formal accounting education and experience to provide the required knowledge and skills.

Knowledge:

Proficient in Sage and Excel a must. Modern office practices and procedures including general accounting methods. Knowledge of accounting software, including working with spreadsheets, and preparing financial reports; computer and related equipment operations and principles.

Skills:

Maintaining working relations with staff and public; attention to accuracy and detail; recognizing and maintaining confidentiality of work materials as appropriate; working independently in the absence of supervision by Executive Vice President and General Manager. The position is full-time. Due to the requirements of the job, the position will reside in the Scottsdale, AZ office.

•As a 501c3 NCPDP is required to have CPA oversight of all financials, if employee does not have a CPA, employee will be responsible for overseeing and outsourcing CPA functions as required.
