Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking an FP&A Manager for a growing client in the financial services industry in Tempe, AZ. The FP&A Manager role requires working fully onsite. The FP&A Manager role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with a strong corporate FP&A background supporting executive leadership in a large public company environment. Responsibilities of the FP&A Manager include:
- Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and target-setting processes while partnering with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver board packages, audit committee materials, compensation committee presentations, and executive financial reporting.
- Analyze financial performance, key business drivers, and operational trends to provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and long-range planning tools to support business objectives and corporate strategy.
- Present concise financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership while adapting to changing business priorities and market conditions. Requirements of the FP&A Manager include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, or other advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of FP&A experience within a corporate finance organization
- Strong experience supporting executive leadership through board reporting, audit committee packages, compensation committee materials, financial guidance, forecasting, and target-setting activities.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to quickly analyze, summarize, and present financial data for executive-level audiences.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain composed, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced, evolving environment; SAP experience is a plus. Compensation for the FP&A Manager include:
- $120,000 - $150,000 annually
