Job Description

We are partnering with a manufacturing company in the Orange County area for a full-time Senior Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for financial reporting, operational strategies and internal control and audits. The ideal candidate is a team player, has attention to detail and eager to learn. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations for various general ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers. Support issuance of 1099s, Review and approve AP requirements weekly Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to scrutinize financial accuracy across all assigned locations Assist the Corporate Controller during the annual external audit, providing essential information as needed. Prepare compliance calculations Review debt holder statements and invoices and prepare quarterly principal payments As ssist and supports other members of the finance and accounting department as required Recruit and hire accounting staff and conduct performance evaluations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance CPA required 5+ years of experience Public Audit experience Cost Accounting exposure REF #47978 #LI-POST #ZR
