FINANCE MANAGER - CONTENT FP&A ABOUT CFO'S DOMAIN

OVERVIEW
Our client is a high-growth B2B technology company providing software, data, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions. The organization is seeking a Finance Manager - Content FP&A to serve as the dedicated finance partner for a strategically important business unit focused on content, data, and product enablement. This role will own planning, forecasting, and business partnership for the content organization, translating operational activity into clear financial insight that supports smarter investment decisions. The Finance Manager will partner closely with business leaders to evaluate headcount plans, licensing strategies, market expansion priorities, AI productivity investments, and content-related unit economics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own budgeting, forecasting, and recurring financial planning for a content-oriented business unit, including headcount, licensing, technology, and operating costs. Build driver-based financial models tied to production capacity, market or category coverage, cost-per-unit economics, and operational throughput. Prepare monthly variance analysis and deliver actionable commentary for finance and business leadership. Develop scenario models to support decisions around market expansion, content sourcing, renewals, licensing, and build-versus-buy trade-offs. Serve as the primary finance partner to content, product, operations, and leadership stakeholders. Translate business strategy and operational metrics into financial projections and decision-support analysis. Support commercial and partnership decisions, including licensing renewals, vendor agreements, and data-related arrangements. Build unit economics frameworks that help leadership evaluate cost efficiency, coverage, productivity, and return on investment. Model the financial impact of AI, automation, and productivity initiatives within content and operational workflows. Design and maintain reporting for P&L performance, headcount pacing, productivity metrics, and key content-related KPIs. Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency across content operations, licensing, technology spend, and related workflows.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field required. 5to8 years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, or finance business partner experience. Experience owning forecasts or P&L support for a content-oriented, product-oriented, SaaS, media, information services, or technology business unit. Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build flexible scenario models in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience translating operational data, such as capacity, utilization, production volume, or cost drivers, into financial insight. Strong business partnership skills with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership. Experience with enterprise planning tools such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, Workday Adaptive, or similar platforms.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
