Torrance, CA (Fully Onsite, Parking Provided)
Salary:
$100,000 - $125,000 +

Direct Hire Our client, a family-owned transportation and logistics company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys a hands-on role, process improvement, and leadership within a stable, collaborative organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Manage high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Review financial data and ensure accuracy of accounting records Assist with process improvements and accounting workflow efficiencies Support financial reporting and audit-related activities Lead or mentor accounting staff and contribute to team development
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally 7+ years Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close Significant AP and AR experience in a high-volume transaction environment Prior supervisory experience preferred, but open to a strong Senior Accountant ready to step into management Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, and working with large data sets Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
