Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager to engage in daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting in Chico, CA. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a forensic mindset who can stabilize accounting processes, resolve legacy reconciliation issues, and provide guidance to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger + Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards + Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning + Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations + Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
