Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Post-Closing Manager to lead our post-closing operations and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all closed mortgage loan files. This role is ideal for a mortgage professional with strong knowledge of Agency and Non-QM loan products, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Post-Closing Manager will work closely with Underwriting, Processing, Account Managers, Title Companies, and Investors to ensure timely loan delivery and adherence to all applicable guidelines and regulations. Key Responsibilities Review and validate loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Agency and Non-QM guidelines. Conduct post-closing audits to ensure adherence to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and investor requirements. Prepare, package, and deliver closed loan files within established deadlines. Manage and prioritize workflow to meet rate lock expirations and investor delivery requirements. Collaborate with Underwriting, Processing, Closing, and Account Management teams to resolve file deficiencies and documentation issues. Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and investors to facilitate timely loan funding and delivery. Maintain accurate and organized records of all closed loan files. Monitor quality control standards and identify opportunities for process improvement. Provide exceptional internal and external customer service. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required 4-5+ years of mortgage post-closing experience. Strong knowledge of Non-QM, Conventional, FHA, VA, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae loan programs. Experience auditing and reviewing closed loan packages. Thorough understanding of mortgage compliance and regulatory requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Previous supervisory or management experience. Experience working with correspondent or wholesale mortgage lending. Knowledge of investor delivery requirements and post-closing quality control processes.
