Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $165,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee month end, quarter end, and year end close activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting analyses to support business decision making. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance practices to support financial integrity. Coordinate audit activities, tax reporting requirements, and relationships with external advisors and service providers. Lead process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and automation projects to improve efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month end close processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Ability to analyze financial data, manage multiple entities, and support complex accounting operations.
Qualifications:
CPA or CMA credential preferred. Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions, technical accounting matters, or complex financial transactions. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to explain financial results and business trends clearly. Proven success implementing process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
