Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an motivated Interim Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to provide financial planning, reporting, and analytical leadership for a television distribution studio client based in Los Anageles. This Long-term Contract opportunity is suited for a hands-on finance specialist who can guide budgeting cycles, deliver decision-ready insights, and maintain consistency during a period of organizational transition. The role will partner with leaders across finance and operational teams to support accurate reporting, thoughtful forecasting, and timely executive visibility into business performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance review activities for the television distribution business, ensuring plans are well supported and regularly updated.
  • Produce management reports, dashboards, and financial analyses that help executives evaluate results, risks, and emerging business trends.
  • Assess detailed financial information and translate findings into clear recommendations for leadership decision-making.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Production Finance, and Content Strategy teams to align assumptions, validate data, and strengthen overall reporting accuracy.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly close cycles by comparing actual performance to forecasts and preparing concise variance explanations.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to planning and reporting workflows to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Develop ad hoc models, scenario analyses, and business cases in response to leadership requests and shifting priorities.
  • Maintain organized documentation and support strong internal controls across financial planning and reporting activities.
  • Facilitate an orderly handoff of responsibilities and knowledge to permanent or internal team members at the conclusion of the engagement.
