Job Description:
RETS Associates on behalf of our client is seeking a Real Estate Private Equity Associate to join a leading global real estate investment platform. This role will support the evaluation and execution of investments across core/core-plus, value-add, and opportunistic strategies spanning industrial, multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, and other property sectors throughout the U.S. The Associate will be responsible for complex financial modeling, underwriting, market and property-level due diligence, and investment committee materials. This individual will also support asset management, financings, major strategic decisions, and dispositions while gaining increasing exposure to deal sourcing and industry relationship development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field with strong academic credentials 2-4 years of relevant finance experience Real estate private equity or real estate investment banking experience preferred Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills ARGUS proficiency preferred but not required Strong real estate underwriting, valuation, and due diligence capabilities Experience analyzing capital structures, business plans, market fundamentals, and property-level financials Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Highly detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment Willingness to travel as needed
