Role Description Elite MD is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Financial Supervisor to oversee the company's day-to-day financial operations and support executive leadership. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role responsible for maintaining financial organization, operational accountability, and reporting accuracy across a fast-paced, multi-division medical practice. The ideal candidate thrives in a growth environment, communicates effectively across departments, and brings strong operational discipline and follow-through. The Controller will work closely with ownership, department leaders, outside CPA firms, and the company's strategic financial consultant to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Manage A/R and A/P Handle bookkeeping and daily accounting functions Prepare and record journal entries related to accounts payable activities and general ledger accounting Prepare year-end tax reports Report Quarterly Sales Tax to CDTFA Send out 1099's Prepare and provide weekly/monthly financial reports to management and owners including P&L Complete any required reporting from vendors Coordinate wire transfers and banking transactions Pull financial and operational reports as needed Assist management with any commission structure changes Support/Back-Up Payroll Manager Support audit preparation, insurance renewals, licensing, and financial compliance processes Help improve systems, workflows, and operational efficiency as the company scales Qualifications 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controller-level operations Strong understanding of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and operational finance Experience managing AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and budgeting Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accountability Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and leadership skills Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting systems Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, medical practice, or multi-location operations preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Growth opportunity within an expanding organization Benefits and bonus potential available based on role and experience
