Job Description

Our client in the education industry is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, support financial reporting, and help ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting activities, including general ledger oversight and account reconciliationsSupervise month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedulesMonitor internal controls and support compliance with accounting policies and proceduresAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisReview balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account discrepanciesPartner with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial reporting and process improvementsSupport audit preparation and coordinate requested documentation
