Job Description
Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to support our client, a PE-backed healthcare services organization, during a period of transition and organic growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will oversee the close process, manage a small accounting team, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities Lead the monthly and year-end close process. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets. Supervise and mentor two Staff Accountants. Manage financial consolidations across multiple operating regions. Support monthly operating reviews and reporting for private equity stakeholders. Partner with Payroll, Revenue Cycle, and FP& A teams. Assist with ongoing accounting cleanup and balance sheet reconciliations. Bring an eye for process improvement and streamlining. Develop accounting procedures and process documentation. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including accounting supervisory or managerial responsibilities. Strong GL, close, reconciliation, accrual, prepaid, and fixed asset experience. Experience reviewing staff work and managing close deadlines. Sage Intacct experience preferred. Healthcare services experience preferred. CPA preferred. Proven ability to work independently, provide leadership, and take ownership of the accounting function.
