Role:
The SAP Finance Functional Lead is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) capabilities, supporting core financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Costing, and Profitability Analysis. This role serves as the primary liaison between Finance business stakeholders and technology teams, driving solution design, delivery, and continuous optimization of SAP financial systems. A key focus of the position is enabling the transition from custom, manual processes to standardized, automated, and scalable SAP solutions while ensuring strong financial controls, data integrity, and compliance. The role also partners closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Application Support teams and reports directly to the Vice President of Business Solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
Own end-to-end
SAP FI/CO
processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis Act as the functional SME for Finance within SAP, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices Drive standardization of financial processes across the organization Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and configuration for
SAP FI/CO
enhancements and projects Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with SAP best practices Partner with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions Provide guidance on system capabilities, process improvements, and automation opportunities Support financial close processes and critical business cycles Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency Drive automation initiatives within financial processes (e.g., invoice processing, reconciliations) Feed improvements into product backlog aligned to business value Ensure adherence to financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance Support internal and external audits related to SAP Finance processes Maintain proper documentation and change controls About the

Base Salary Range:
$160,000 - $175,000 Annually Annual Bonus Program Equity 401(k) Profit Sharing Medical, Dental, Vision & More! Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary based on location
About You:
8-12+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) functional roles Deep expertise in
SAP FI/CO
modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO) Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
preferred Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and controls Proven experience in: End-to-end solution design and delivery Business stakeholder engagement (Finance/Accounting) Driving process improvements and automation Experience working in integrated SAP landscapes (MM, SD, etc.) Ability to balance Build (projects) and Run (support & stabilization) responsibilities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field End-to-end solution design and delivery Business stakeholder engagement (Finance/Accounting) Driving process improvements and automation To learn about how we collect, use and secure your personal information.
