Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization in Fremont, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and excels in ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving efficiency and maintaining the integrity of financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure all accounts are properly reconciled and maintained.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Manage bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of cash balances.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
