Full-Time | Direct Hire About the Opportunity A growing, multi-location organization is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to lead its Revenue Accounting and Accounts Receivable functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and partnering across the business to drive operational excellence. Reporting directly to senior accounting leadership, this role will oversee a team of accounting professionals and be responsible for revenue accounting, customer billing, collections, accounts receivable operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly revenue close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Ensure accurate and timely customer billing and invoicing Oversee accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and revenue-related processes Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Receivable professionals Maintain customer pricing structures, commissions, and revenue-related master data within the ERP system Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to support business growth and customer setup activities Perform revenue, commission, rebate, and payment reconciliations Analyze revenue trends, collection performance, and financial metrics Develop reporting and dashboards for executive leadership Drive automation, process improvement, and operational efficiencies Support internal and external audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Participate in special projects and strategic accounting initiatives
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 8+ years of progressive accounting experience 3+ years of management experience leading accounting or accounts receivable teams Strong experience with revenue accounting, billing, collections, and accounts receivable management Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
