Company DescriptionUnited Collective is a privately owned holding company that operates a marketing and advertising agency, a youth sports business and a ready-to drink-cocktail company. The company is based in Huntington Beach, CA . Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Finance Manager who can handle accounting and planning functions as we grow our finance team. This is a full-time on-site position.

This position reports to the President with a strong dotted line reporting to the Group Controller and CFO. You will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting, planning and cash flow forecasting. You will be working closely with Purchasing, reconciling vendor invoices and purchase orders, adjusting inventory and assisting with warehousing and delivery problems. Day to day volume is relatively light but you will have broad responsibilities. This is a key position on a small team and good communication skills are a must as you will be challenged to participate in business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books on QuickBooks; provide monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements to managementManage all Accounting operations, which include paying vendors, issuing PO's, invoicing customers and collection, payroll entries from a third party providerMaintain accurate inventory in Ekos inventory system that matches with warehouses and QuickBooks Balance Sheet, and make sure the Cost of Goods Sold is correct on the P&LVerify and deposit cash and checks into bank account, reconcile bank statementsFile monthly, quarterly and/or annual returns with state and federal agencies ( FTB, TTB, CDTFA 1099's, Alcohol Excise, Manufacturing, Sales & Use, and CRV taxes)All licenses must be in compliance with Federal & State mandatesReview agreements with vendors, clients and insurance brokerQuarterly update of product costs and pricingAnnual and short-term forecasting of P&L and Cash FlowQualificationsTwo years of Accounting/Finance experienceDegree in Accounting or FinanceMust be well organized and detail orientedExperience in an entrepreneurial environment preferredStrong accounting and cash management skills utilizing GAAPAbility to understand operations and work with a broad range of peopleAbility to analyze and give recommendations on business operations both current and futureStrong Excel spreadsheet skillsGood communication skillsAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
