QuickBooks Online Consultant

QuickBooks Online Consultant (CONTRACT) You are an an experienced accounting professional with strong QuickBooks Online expertise who enjoys solving problems, supporting accounting teams, and improving system processes in an ecommerce environment. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly to assist with a Shopify and QuickBooks Online integration while helping stabilize accounting operations during a critical go-live period.

This position pays:

$35-$50/hour

DOE Location:

Petaluma, CA (hybrid candidates preferred) What you will be doing: Support the accounting team with QuickBooks Online processes and troubleshooting Assist with the Shopify to QuickBooks Online integration and help resolve current system issues Review and correct incorrectly imported orders Help ensure accurate recording of ecommerce sales activity and accounting transactions Provide guidance and training to the accounting team on QuickBooks Online best practices Assist with connecting and properly recording PayPal transactions within QuickBooks Online Support bookkeeping functions including recording sales, balancing accounts, and maintaining accurate financial data Answer accounting process questions related to sales tax setup and multi-state transactions within QuickBooks Online Collaborate closely with the AP Clerk, AR Clerk, Accounting Manager, CEO, and Owners Help the team avoid creating additional accounting issues during the transition and go-live process Provide general accounting support and process improvement recommendations as needed What you bring: Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online required Experience supporting Shopify and ecommerce accounting integrations preferred Understanding of AR, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and sales tax processes Experience troubleshooting accounting system integrations and imported transaction issues Familiarity with PayPal integrations and recording ecommerce transactions properly Ability to train and support accounting teams with varying levels of QuickBooks experience Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ecommerce, retail, buying/selling, or distribution industry experience preferred Ability to step into a fast-moving environment and provide immediate support Strong communication and collaboration skills To learn more about the workplace culture and the position, please apply! #INDfakw About Us For over 50 years, Nelson Connects has empowered employers and job seekers to achieve their unique versions of success.
