Full Job Description Located:
Pomona Pay:
$75k•95k Must come from Non profit Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and provide short•and long-term financial projections Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive leadership and board members Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards, state regulations, and grant requirements Develop and maintain organizational budgets, analyzing variances and recommending adjustments Support grant applications and ensure accurate financial reporting for funding sources Prepare and submit required state funding reports, including quarterly filings Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and ensure regulatory compliance Establish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures Collaborate with internal accounting teams to ensure accurate transaction processing and reporting Contribute to financial strategy and long-term sustainability planning Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred) Minimum 3+ years of senior-level experience in non-profit financial management Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and compliance standards Experience with grant funding, reporting, and state-funded program requirements Familiarity with CPARIS (California Preschool Accounting Reporting Information System) preferred Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
