Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Finance Manager (F&I) to join our dealership team. In this vital role, you will lead the financial services department, guiding customers through the financing and insurance process with confidence and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry regulations while maximizing dealership profitability through effective upselling and client relationship management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence customer satisfaction and contribute to the dealership's success by providing tailored financial solutions that meet each client's needs. Duties Engage with customers to understand their financial needs, offering expert guidance on automotive financing and insurance options. Facilitate the loan approval process by analyzing credit reports, conducting credit analysis, and structuring transactions that align with regulatory standards such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act). Present and explain various financing packages, warranties, and add-on products, employing strong sales negotiation skills to maximize upselling opportunities. Ensure all loan documentation, contracts, title processing, and transaction records are accurately completed in accordance with automotive sales industry regulations and compliance standards. Maintain thorough knowledge of financial software systems like Reynolds, CDK or similar platforms to process deals efficiently and accurately. Uphold strict adherence to financial regulatory compliance, including loan processing regulations and credit analysis protocols. Cultivate excellent customer relationships through transparent communication, prompt follow-up, and personalized service to foster loyalty and repeat business. Qualifications Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial services role within the automotive or dealership industry. Strong understanding of automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, title processing, and compliance with loan regulations. Demonstrated ability in deal structuring, negotiation, upselling, and client communication. Proficiency with financial software such as Reynolds, Cox Automotive, CDK or equivalent systems for transaction processing. Excellent math skills including basic calculations and 10-key typing proficiency for accurate data entry. Knowledge of credit analysis techniques and experience evaluating customer creditworthiness. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships through effective communication. Familiarity with automotive financing products, insurance offerings, contracts, and legal requirements related to automobile sales.
