Job Functions:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Perform journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Support month-end and year-end close processes and develop annual budgets
- Directs financial business operations and implements financial policies, accounting systems and cost controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
- Prepares quarterly and annual reports for federal, state and local agencies
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred.
- Preferably, three years' experience in health care accounting management, and/or in home care operations.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate accounting principles
- Proficiency in account analysis and double-entry bookkeeping
- Prior experience in corporate finance or financial management is preferred
- Solid knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Open position is full time, Monday through Friday.
Pay:
$33.00- $43.
