OSAE supports Finance in serving as the Governor's chief fiscal policy advisor through various activities, such as audits and evaluations; monitoring and coordinating efforts for the statewide State Leadership Accountability Act and the federal Single Audit Act; and implementation of the Redevelopment Agency dissolution legislation.

Pay Range:
$10,049.00 - $11,979.00Note:
This position is eligible for an additional recruitment and retention pay differential (5% in the first year, and 10% in the second year).Application Deadline:
September 21, 2026. In this role you will manage a large professional staff, typically through subordinate supervisors, by providing technical direction, supervision, and leadership.This includes the following:
Manage a large professional staff, providing technical direction, supervision, and leadership, while maintaining proficiency in all Financial & Performance Evaluator (FPE) levels. Plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple projects with various stakeholders to support finance's core values, goals, and mission. Ensure quality control of projects, communicate the value of services, and participate in administrative functions to maintain proficiency and provide recommendations to stakeholders.Experience Requirement:
Five years of increasingly responsible professional accounting or auditing experience, which shall have included the preparation of reports and the presentation of recommendations to management. For at least two years, these responsibilities must have been in a supervisory capacity. (Please Note:
