Responsibilities include maintaining accurate project financial records, invoicing, collections, performing bookkeeping tasks, reconciling and balancing statements, assisting with preparing financial statements, and compliance details as well as single point of contact for Human Resources. Job Description - Full management responsibility of
Accounting & HR Departments Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records. Including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger. Record and reconcile financial transactions, credit card accounts and vendor accounts. Ensure accurate categorization of business transactions.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements). Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist with the creation and maintenance of financial budgets. Provide financial forecasts and projections.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and records. Invoicing Prepare and issue invoices. Collections Contact clients to collect on balances owed. Human Resources and Payroll Prepare and process payroll for employees and contractors. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations. Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws. Onboard new hires.
Other Duties:
Provide financial advice to management. Identify, recommend and implement approved system and procedural improvements to increase efficiency. Perform other accounting-related duties as needed.
