Job Description

Join the growing team of Advanced Practice Providers with Colorado Springs Neurological Associates (CSNA). CSNA began in 1959 and are now the largest and most experienced Neuroscience and Spine practice in southern Colorado. We proudly deliver the highest quality medical care to our community and we are seeking a Revenue Cycle Assistant Manager that shares our drive for excellence. CSNA has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Revenue Cycle Assistant Manager to join our Finance Team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic quickly growing multi-specialty group who are doing great things! The Revenue Cycle department oversees the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring efficient billing, collections and compliance with regulations to optimize financial performance. A strong candidate can maintain the revenue cycle process while keeping consistent communication between the billing team and providers for process and payment optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Cycle Operations :
Oversee many aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, collections and accounts receivable. •
Process Improvement :
Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance, reduce days in account receivable and minimize claim denials. •
Financial Analysis :
Analyze financial data and prepare weekly reports on revenue cycle metrics and trends to identify areas of improvement. •
Compliance :
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to medical billing and collections, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards. CE days are provided. •
Collaboration :
Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate coding and documentation for billing purposes, and to enhance the overall patient experience. Working with Revenue cycle team to achieve department goals. •
Patient Interaction :
Ensuring a positive experience for patients by managing the billing team's performance on addressing patient inquiries and resolving billing disputes. Occasional direct patient interaction for complex cases.
Revenue Cycle Responsibilities:
Reviewing the current system to ensure that accurate billing information is entered into the billing system. Assisting in the supervision of the revenue cycle department in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing. Efficiently managing patient complaints in respect of billing and collections. Planning and structuring the department workflow and staffing in conjunction with the Revenue Cycle team Correctly coding diagnoses and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education :
A bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related field is preferred but not required. •
Experience :
A minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. •
Skills :
strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding and reimbursement methodologies; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
