We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the financial and accounting operations for a large-scale industrial site. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, compliance, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and cost reporting. The Accounting Manager serves as a key business partner to site leadership and plays a critical role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis, and a proven track record working within large enterprise organizations. This position is based in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, approximately one hour from the Denver metropolitan area. Employees enjoy access to year-round outdoor recreation, including hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. Employees required to work on-site may be eligible for a monthly housing allowance of $1,450 , subject to program guidelines.

This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration visa support. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily accounting and finance operations for the site. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger activities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Develop profit and loss forecasts and provide historical financial analysis to support business decisions. Compile and manage annual operating and capital budgets. Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend cost reduction initiatives. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Establish, maintain, and improve accounting processes, controls, and procedures. Support internal and external audit activities and coordinate with audit firms as required. Partner with site leadership and department managers on budgeting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives. Evaluate financial service vendors and recommend solutions that support operational efficiency. Participate in corporate steering committees and cross-functional finance initiatives. Lead, mentor, develop, and evaluate accounting personnel to ensure strong team performance and professional growth. Promote a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Option 1 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Seven (7) years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience. Three (3) years of leadership or management experience. OR Option 2 Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Five (5) years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience. Three (3) years of leadership or management experience. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate: Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong understanding of financial controls and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable business insights. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications and enterprise financial systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate teams. Compensation Estimated Annual Base Salary:
$112,000 - $160,000 Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
