Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to provide hands-on financial leadership for a textile manufacturing organization. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can oversee core accounting operations, maintain accurate reporting, and support a well-controlled month-end process. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen financial accuracy, ensure timely close activities, and support audit readiness.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are recorded accurately and completely.
  • Oversee general ledger activity and review accounting transactions to maintain the integrity of financial records.
  • Prepare and approve journal entries, supporting schedules, and related documentation for routine and non-routine accounting matters.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate audit support activities by organizing records, responding to auditor requests, and helping maintain compliance with reporting standards.
  • Monitor balance sheet and income statement accuracy through regular analysis and review of financial data.
  • Partner with operational and finance teams to improve accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls.
  • Assist with special accounting projects and process updates as business needs evolve. Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong command of month-end close procedures, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience preparing journal entries and completing complex account reconciliations.
  • Background supporting financial statement audits and working with external or internal auditors.
  • Ability to analyze accounting data, identify issues, and implement practical solutions.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
