THE WORK
Hybrid Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work remotely part time and report to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
  • The selected candidate for this position will report to the Command IQ and Advanced Concepts Business Operations Manager, and will be responsible for all aspects of Program Finance for a portfolio Contracts.
  • They will be responsible for driving business results for a major portfolio of programs by integrating data from various teams including program finance, master planning, estimating, contracts, engineering, supply chain and other functions.
  • Manages short and long-range financial and program performance internally and externally.
Internal financial management includes contract orders, sales, profit, cash, and capital expenditures. External management involves earned value management, program budget baselines and program performance reporting. They will assess risks and opportunities that affect business portfolio/program performance and help develop associated action plans in coordination with program management. They will interface and partner with external customers and internal stakeholders and support new business pursuits in development of competitive proposals and will play a key role in strategic business case development and analysis.
  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Standard Job Description Performs one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (FP&A, Overhead, Program Finance, Accounting, Controller, etc.). Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined. Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, ROIC, Overhead, Discretionary Funding) and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required. ## Basic Qualifications
  • Earned Value Management Experience
  • FP&A Experience
  • Ability to multitask and lead across several competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with SAP, Cobra, ECE, Hyperion and other Program Performance Management tools
  • Proven finance and business operations skills
  • Strong analytic skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong Communication skills to explain complex topics in an easy to understand way, as well as experience presenting to executive management
  • US citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. ## Desired Skills

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
