Partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Longmont, CO seeking a Division Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, multi-state organization experiencing continued growth. The Division Accounting Manager will lead a team and oversee the full accounting operations for several company locations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational support.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the monthly and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accrualsMaintain GAAP compliance and oversee chart of accounts managementReview and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completenessLead cost accounting functions, including COGS analysis, inventory costing, product margins, and cost reportingOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities across assigned locationsPerform variance analysis and assist with annual audits and audit preparationManage percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting for long-term contracts and programsOversee revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with accounting standardsMaintain ownership of divisional P&L and balance sheet performancePartner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support business decision-makingDevelop, mentor, and manage accounting staff while driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
