This role oversees billing, coding, and reimbursement performance while driving efficiency, compliance, and revenue integrity. This is a client-facing position requiring strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to represent Pulse4Pulse in client meetings and translate complex billing processes into clear, actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Leadership Oversee end-to-end billing and coding operations across all client accounts Develop strategies to optimize reimbursement and reduce denials Monitor KPIs including claim submission, collections, denial rates, and days in A/R Identify trends and proactively address revenue leakage Coding & Compliance Ensure accuracy and compliance with CPT, ICD-10, and payer guidelines Stay current on regulatory changes and industry standards Lead audits and implement corrective actions as needed Process Optimization & Scalability Build and refine workflows to support multi-site growth Partner with clinical and operations teams on documentation and charge capture Improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times Client Engagement & Communication Participate in client meetings, onboarding, and new business discussions Clearly communicate billing processes and expectations to clients Translate complex concepts into clear, concise insights Support leadership in client presentations and growth initiatives Team Oversight Lead billing staff and/or external vendors Set performance expectations and ensure accountability Promote a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement Qualifications 5+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, with leadership experience Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and reimbursement models Experience managing revenue cycle operations across multiple sites or clients Proven ability to improve billing performance and reduce denials Strong communication and presentation skills, with client-facing experience Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
Preferred:
CPC, CCS, or similar certification Experience in a high-growth or multi-site healthcare environment
