Job DescriptionThis position is fully on-site at our office in Miami Lakes.

 $100K-$125K annually
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing personal injury law firm in Miami. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing a small team, and helping ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong technical accounting skills, hands-on systems experience, and the ability to lead and improve processes in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closeOversee trust (IOLTA) accounting, including client fund tracking, reconciliations, and compliance with state bar requirementsManage and mentor accounting staff, including supervising team membersPrepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting schedulesEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and firm policiesPartner with firm leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysisMaintain and improve accounting processes and workflows to support operational efficiencySupport audits, tax preparation, and coordination with external accountants and advisorsAssist with financial system optimization and reporting enhancementsParticipate in or support accounting and ERP system implementations and process transitions as neededQualificationsCPA requiredMinimum 5 years of accounting experiencePrior experience managing teams of at least 2 peopleStrong experience with NetSuiteStrong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controlsExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work on-site full time in
MiamiPreferred Qualifications:
QuickBooks experience is a plusExperience participating in a system implementation is a plusPrior experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is a plus
