  • Davie, FL Schedule
  • M-F, 9am-5pm (On-site) Accounting Manager
  • Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial-reporting support. Oversee high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, billing, collections, and vendor payments. Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve outstanding transactions. Maintain accurate financial activity within QuickBooks, including general ledger, billing, AP, AR, and cash transactions. Support manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory transactions, production-related expenses, and cost analysis. Review aging reports, monitor cash flow, follow up on outstanding receivables, and resolve customer or vendor discrepancies. Improve accounting procedures and internal controls while partnering with operations, purchasing, and management. Maintain fixed asset records, including capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation tracking. Oversee accurate recording of vendor invoices and expenses within the ERP system, ensuring proper coding and accounting period recognition. Manage integration and reconciliation of corporate credit card and expense reporting data. Assist with financial data uploads, consolidations, and reporting within corporate accounting systems. Support contract-related accounting requirements, including payroll reporting and regulatory documentation where applicable. Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation of accounting procedures. Provide schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits. Uphold company policies related to ethics, confidentiality, compliance, and internal governance. Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives to support finance and business operations. Requirements of the

Accounting Manager:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Manufacturing Accounting Experience strongly preferred Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. Proficient in using QuickBooks required . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary:

$85k
