Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. This position oversees daily accounting operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, supervising journal entries, and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts. The Accounting Manager will manage fixed asset records, support budgeting and forecasting, and perform variance and trend analyses to help guide financial decisions. The role includes collaborating with property and association managers, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and assisting with audits and month-end and year-end closings. The Accounting Manager will also help improve accounting processes and systems to support efficient and reliable financial reporting. Qualifications Strong proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and related reports. Demonstrated analytical skills and experience in financial analysis and decision support. Hands-on experience with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and core accounting processes. Knowledge of finance principles and practical experience managing fixed assets and asset tracking. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience in property management or real estate accounting is highly beneficial. Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including reconciliations and reporting tools. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge in Caliber software a plus
