Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead month-end close activities. The Accounting Manager will supervise accounting staff, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a solid technical accounting background and proven experience managing accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Close Management:
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial reports Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
General Ledger & Accounting Operations:
Oversee general ledger maintenance and chart of accounts integrity Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets functions as applicable Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies Coordinate internal and external audits and support audit requests Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Budgeting & Financial Analysis:
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Accounting experience within the hospitality or retail industry performing accounting functions for multi-locations is highly preferred Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP/accounting systems required
