Job Description

Atlantic Pro is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager for our boat dealership and service department. We are looking for a hands-on accounting professional who understands dealership accounting and is highly experienced with Lightspeed DMS. This position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, vendor management, and helping control the financial performance of our Parts and Service departments.
LIGHTSPEED DMS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Maintain accurate accounting records in Lightspeed DMS Prepare and review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports Track revenue, expenses, and profitability Provide management reports showing how much we spend, how much we earn, and where the money is going Handle bank and credit card reconciliations Handle sales tax reporting Manage vendor accounts and communicate with vendors Order parts and supplies Receive and verify parts, invoices, pricing, and quantities Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving records Process vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements Handle vendor credits, returns, cores, and discrepancies Monitor Parts and Service department expenses and profitability Maintain accurate parts inventory and purchasing records Make sure parts are correctly assigned to service jobs Work closely with management,
Parts, Service, and Sales Requirements:
Strong hands-on Lightspeed DMS experience —
REQUIRED
Strong accounting/bookkeeping experience Experience with AP/AR, P&L, Balance Sheets, and reconciliations Dealership accounting experience strongly preferred Good understanding of inventory, purchasing, and vendor management Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a hands-on dealership environment Marine dealership experience and knowledge of boats and outboard engines are strongly preferred. Experience ordering Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki parts is a plus, but not required. We can teach the right person our parts ordering process. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the dealership's day-to-day accounting and provide management with clear, accurate information about the financial performance of the business.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
