Job Summary The F&I Manager plays a crucial role in the automotive sales process, acting as a liaison between the dealership and financial institutions. This position is responsible for managing the finance and insurance department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales, customer service, and financial processes, with a focus on enhancing the overall customer experience. Responsibilities Oversee the finance and insurance operations within the dealership. Collaborate with customers to understand their financing needs and present suitable options. Process loan applications and work closely with lenders to secure financing for customers. Ensure compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other relevant regulations. Utilize financial software to manage transactions and maintain accurate records. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the financing process, addressing any questions or concerns. Upsell additional products and services that enhance customer satisfaction. Train and mentor sales staff on finance-related topics to improve overall performance. Conduct regular audits of finance documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Experience Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field is essential. Strong understanding of loan processing, financial software, and basic math skills. Background as a loan officer or in a similar financial role is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust. Ability to effectively upsell products while maintaining integrity in the sales process. Familiarity with TILA regulations is advantageous. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while providing top-notch service to customers.
