The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in GAAP, financial statement preparation, regulatory reporting, and general ledger accounting. This role involves leading accounting teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as and providing strategic financial insights to support organizational goals. Experience in a Manufacturing environment is highly desirable . The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing audits, and supporting financial planning initiatives. Duties Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards. Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on complex issues such as technical accounting, and sales tax compliance. Ensure adherence to internal controls, and implement process improvements for efficiency. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow analysis to optimize financial operations. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. • Lead external audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating audit processes. Skills Demonstrated ability in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and conducting detailed financial analysis. Expertise in managing complex transactions involving debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management. Excellent leadership skills with experience in mentoring accounting teams to achieve high performance standards. Ability to perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management effectively. Strong analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of tax experience related to corporate finance..
