How will you power what's possible? Job Summary Distributes periodic financial statements for external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with government regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies. Develops consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions, and consolidates divisional and subsidiary accounts for inclusion in both internal and external financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs the daily activities of a finance team, ensuring goals are met within the scope of departmental plans. Provides guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensures the efficient management of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Works closely with the director to develop and adapt strategies that meet organizational objectives.
  • Develops and implements processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Conducts financial analysis to assess the company's financial health, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations for improvements. Collaborates with senior leadership to align financial performance with business goals.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, proactively managing risks to maintain financial integrity and compliance. Reviews financial practices to ensure that high-quality standards are consistently met.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to contribute to the development of short-term and long-term financial strategies. Supports decision-making by providing financial insights and recommending improvements to business models.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, department heads, and business partners. Communicates financial performance and goals to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Provides coaching to junior staff and develops their financial expertise. Fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that team members have the tools and support needed to succeed.
  • Leads the execution of day-to-day financial tasks while supporting higher-level strategic initiatives. Supports management in defining project terms and aligning financial objectives with overall company goals.
