Job Description
Big Rig Lending, LLC , an online marketplace lender specializing in commercial vehicle lending with nationwide coverage, currently seeks experienced Assistant Underwriting Manager. Ideal candidates will have experience reviewing loan applications, determining loan value approvals, closing loans, and general underwriting. Successful candidates will complete work in line with our Corporate Purpose and Guiding Principles in an innovative, inside sales environment. This is an onsite, in person position in Dalton, GA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Review loan applications and complete underwriting of Loan Pre-Approvals Assign Loan value approval, products, and terms of loan as applicable Oversee and/or complete Loan Closings including building loans, creating checks, verbally close loans, and/or recording closings Review requests for loan exceptions and approve exceptions based on internal controls, sound judgments, and best practices Oversee perfection of lien on titles and remain informed on all escalated title issues Assist with implementation of department processes, documentation, and training Quality assurance check of all documents and processesJOB REQUIREMENTS 3-5
years as a Compliance Manager, Compliance Supervisor, Underwriting Manager, Underwriting Supervisor, Financial Services Manager, Financial Services Supervisor or closely related field with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals 3-5 years direct supervisor of direct reports Prior relevant experience in commercial lending, subprime lending, mortgage lending, consumer lending, strongly preferred Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products including Outlook email and point of sale systems Ability to interact effectively primarily over the telephone and through email Attention to detail and exceptional prioritizing and organizations skills Strong interpersonal, active listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills Bilingual in Spanish/English preferredBENEFITS
