We are looking for an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing our accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with industry-specific regulations. If you have a strong background in accounting and a passion for the complexities of commercial real estate, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Oversee the coordination of audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance. Collaborate with asset management teams to provide financial insights and support investment decisions. Develop and maintain accounting policies, practices, and procedures that align with industry standards. Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure our practices remain in compliance. Provide guidance on financial strategies and optimization to support business objectives. Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on commercial real estate investment management. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and industry-specific regulations. Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
