Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Supervisor to lead our healthcare billing and revenue management team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate and timely billing, coding, and reimbursement from health insurance providers, government programs, and patients. Your leadership will drive compliance with medical billing regulations, optimize revenue collection, and enhance operational efficiency across the hospital's revenue cycle management functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about healthcare financial operations and team development. Duties Supervise daily operations of the revenue cycle team, including billing, coding, accounts receivable follow-up, and collections Ensure compliance with all medical billing regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance standards Oversee electronic health records (EHR) management to ensure accurate documentation for billing purposes Collaborate with clinical staff to verify proper medical coding, including ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding standards Monitor key performance indicators related to hospital revenue cycle management to identify areas for improvement Provide training and mentorship to team members on healthcare billing management and insurance third-party billing processes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency Requirements Proven experience in hospital revenue cycle management or healthcare billing management Strong knowledge of medical billing regulations compliance, Medicare regulations, Medicaid regulations, and health insurance policies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes Experience with billing software systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of billing professionals In-depth understanding of healthcare billing processes, medical coding (including ICD coding), and insurance third-party billing procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing complex revenue cycle workflows Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare regulations and implement necessary changes effectively Join us as a Revenue Cycle Supervisor and become a vital part of our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services while maximizing financial performance. Pay:
$42,695.59 - $50,848.45 per year
