Job Description

Job Summary Accounting Manager Location:
Georgia Salary Range:
$75,000 Position Summary Walton Press Inc., a Commercial Printer, located in Monroe Georgia is seeking a dedicated, "working" Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accounting department. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and the overall profitability of the organization. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Corporate Controller, allowing the Controller to focus on strategic activities such as budgeting, tax filing, and high-level financial review.
Key Responsibilities General Ledger Management:
Maintain an accurate general ledger and ensure the highest degree of data accuracy with minimal error rates.
Operations Oversight:
Manage daily operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer billing.
Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of weekly reports on the current state of the business, including cash flow and receivables/payables.
Team Supervision:
Directly supervise and develop a team of up to four individuals responsible for AP, AR, and billing.
Process Efficiency:
Maintain focus and competence within the department to ensure pertinent financial information is provided reliably and on time.
Requirements & Skills Experience:
At least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs. Experience with Crystal Reporting, Microsoft Access or similar tools is highly desirable. Attention to

Exceptional focus and strict attention to detail are absolute requirements for success in this position.
Communication:
Strong communication and listening skills, with a highly personable and responsive attitude toward internal and external customers.
Education:
An accounting degree is required for candidates with less than 10 years of experience; equivalent relevant experience may be considered for those with over 10 years in the field. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods and operate a keyboard and 10-key for data input. Ability to move about freely, reach, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds.
