What You'll Do Own full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close Prepare financials (P&L, balance sheet, KPIs) and support budgeting Manage AR/AP, invoicing, collections, and cash flow Process payroll, benefits, and 1099s; ensure compliance Partner with leadership on job costing, margins, and profitability Coordinate with external CPA and manage insurance/compliance requirements Why This Role Stands Out High visibility with leadership Full ownership of accounting Opportunity to improve processes and drive impact Collaborative, low-ego team environment What We're Looking For 4+ years of accounting experience (small/mid-sized business preferred) Full-cycle accounting experience QuickBooks Online (or similar) and strong Excel skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and hands-on Bachelors degree or Associates degree Strong communicator who enjoys a team environment Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
