MANAGER DHO JV
is joint venture between contractors, Dragados, Hawaiian Dredging Construction, Co., and Orion Government Services. This collaboration aims to develop a new dry dock for the Governments Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, working on important marine infrastructure projects with NAVPAC Pacific.
JOB OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for managing in the development, implementation and administration of various financial, general accounting.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the development, implementation and/or maintenance of corporate accounting systems related to collection and analysis of costs and/or budgets. Prepare or assist in the preparation of general accounting and financial documents for the project. Prepare various cost/statistical reports (i.e., fringe benefit cost analysis, administrative overhead expense reports, corporate budgets, etc.) for corporate management as required/requested. Prepare financial data for inclusion in bid proposals, and other similar packages as required. Perform/participate in internal audits. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS USED
Educational and experience requirements include Four-year (technical or business) degree or equivalent combination technical training and/or related experience. Minimum 5 years' construction material procurement experience. Advanced knowledge of procurement/vendor inspection techniques, procedures, working knowledge of accounting, financial management and business contract law required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
