Title:

Finance Manager Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain robust cost systems to track materials labour and overheads
• Analyse product costing, margin opportunities and pricing strategies to improve operational performance
• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting aligned with production targets
• Manage cost accounting (raw materials, energy, labour, cost per ton)
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, variances and plant performance
• Oversee inventory accounting (raw materials, VVIP, finished goods)
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support operational decisions
• Manage cash flow and working capital for continuous production operations
• Ensure tax compliance, audits and statutory reporting
• Implement strong internal controls and risk management systems
• Partner with operations to improve efficiency, cost reduction and profitability Qualification Required & Experience
• Degree in Finance/Accounting (Professional certification preferred - ACCA/CA/CIMA)
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong background in costing, inventory management and financial analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced excel
