5 beds, 3 stepdown beds, typical 1:2 ratio (occasionally 1:3 with overflow) Additional responsibilities in a Med Surg unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratioQualifications:
Active RN license Minimum one year of recent ICU nursing experience Strong proficiency with EPIC or ability to learn rapidly BLS and ACLS certifications required Demonstrated flexibility in high-acuity environmentsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver safe patient care for ventilated, post-surgical, and critically ill adults Titrate and monitor critical drips (propofol, leveophed, diltiazem, insulin, heparin) Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and provide preceptorship as needed Participate in Med Surg care as patient needs requireBenefits and Travel Perks:
