We are currently seeking motivated and member-oriented individuals to join our team as an Accounting Manager.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Accounting Manager To direct the operations of the Accounting Department; prepare financial reports, including annual plan and operating budgets; ensure complete, accurate, and timely completion of financial and accounting records for the Credit Union and prepare analysis of operations for management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of department. Prepares or oversees preparation of all financial, statistical, and accounting records of the credit union. Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of direct reports: conducts performance reviews; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from subordinates. Works with auditors/examiners on year-end and comprehensive audits.
Qualifications:
4-6 Years of similar experience, including leadership experience (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
