Compass Truck Sales is seeking a highly motivated Finance and Insurance Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of credit, commercial lending, and titling. We are seeking candidates that also have excellent communication, sales skills and are detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. About the
Job:
Help customers secure financing through banks and commercial lenders. Present finance, extended warranties, and protection plans to our buyers. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Prepare accurate and complete finance and title paperwork. Collaborate with the sales team to close deals efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders.
Responsibilities:
Customer Financing & Credit Handling Assist customers in securing financing through banks, lenders, or in-house financing options. Review and analyze customer credit applications, scores, and history. Present financing options clearly, ensuring customers understand loan terms, down payments, interest rates, and payment schedules. Extended Warranty Sales Sell extended service contracts and aftermarket protection plans. Ensure all warranty documents are properly completed and signed. Deal Structuring & Paperwork Work with the CRM system and the sales team to finalize truck sale deals and ensure proper deal structure. Prepare, review, and process all financial paperwork including finance contracts, titles, registrations, and lien documents. Verify accuracy of all information before submission to lenders or DMV. Compliance & Legal Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and dealership policies regarding finance and insurance transactions (e.g., FTC, DOT, F&I disclosures). Maintain records in accordance with legal standards and dealership practices. Conduct regular audits of finance files and deal jackets for compliance. Lender Relations Maintain and build relationships with multiple commercial truck lenders and finance institutions. Negotiate terms and approvals to get the best deals for both the customer and the dealership. Stay updated on changing finance programs, rates, and requirements. Reporting & Performance Tracking Report regularly to dealership management on department performance. Develop monthly goals and strategies to improve F&I profitability. Training & Collaboration Train and support sales staff on finance products, qualifying customers, and compliance practices. Attend lender, or compliance training webinars and conventions as needed. Act as a connection between the sales department, customers, and lenders. Customer Service & Retention Ensure a professional and smooth customer experience during financing. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues. Promote return business through transparency and trust.
Qualifications Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive or commercial truck equipment F&I Strong understanding of credit, commercial lending, and titling Excellent communication and sales skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
Pay:
Potential pay plan ranges between $125,000-$250,000. This includes incentive based pay, so your experience, skills and performance drive your income.
