For more than 30 years, we've partnered with architects, interior designers, healthcare systems, and corporations to transform spaces through thoughtfully curated artwork that enhances the human experience. As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to do more than manage the books. We're seeking someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and helping shape the financial infrastructure of an expanding, creative organization. Position Summary The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of Art Expressions while helping modernize and streamline our accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone with extensive QuickBooks Online experience who enjoys identifying opportunities for automation, creating efficient workflows, implementing scalable systems, and improving financial reporting. Beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, we're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, leverage technology, and help build the financial processes needed to support a growing business. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations including A/R, A/P, cash management, payroll review, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain project budgets while collaborating with project managers and designers.
- Manage HR administration, onboarding, compliance, and Paychex Flock processes.
- Prepare forecasting, annual budgets, KPI reporting, and management reports.
- Supervise accounting staff and support vendor registrations and insurance requests.
- Develop, improve, and document accounting systems, workflows, and procedures.
- Manage accounting for affiliated real estate entities.
- Recommend and implement technology and process improvements as the company grows. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience improving systems and implementing scalable accounting processes.
